Job summary

Institute of Management Accountants, Inc. in San Francisco seeks a finance professional to oversee fund accounting, financial reporting, NAV review, and investor allocations for a fast-growing funds platform.

You will partner with investment, operations, and leadership to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and scalable infrastructure, while driving automation and regulatory compliance across tax reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fund accounting, financial reporting, NAV review, investor allocations, capital activity, and partnership accounting
• Manage relationships with third-party fund administrators and review fund financial reporting deliverables
• Partner with investment and operations teams on accounting for long/short strategies, derivatives, options, and complex instruments
• Review portfolio valuations, reconciliations, and fund activity for accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate annual audits and collaborate with external tax advisors on fund and investor reporting
• Maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory reporting processes
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate workflows, and leverage technology to enhance reporting and efficiency
• Partner with senior leadership on fund oversight, strategic initiatives, and new product launches
