Role Description The Investment Director is a full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco, CA. This role is responsible for sourcing and evaluating early-stage investment opportunities in space-tech, autonomy, and robotics, conducting rigorous market and financial analysis, and leading investment processes from initial screening through term sheet negotiation and closing. The Investment Director will work closely with founders to support portfolio companies on strategy, fundraising, and scaling, while collaborating with internal partners to refine investment theses and build sector insights. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing deal pipelines, performing due diligence, preparing investment memos and presentations, representing the firm at industry events, and contributing to the continuous improvement of IXSAR Capital's investment frameworks and decision-making practices.
