Zimmer Biomet in Indiana seeks a manufacturing associate for basic operations in our foundry environment. You will assemble product components, monitor quality, and follow established procedures in a 12-hour shift schedule.

You should have a high school diploma and at least six months of foundry experience; prior inspection or manufacturing background is preferred. A $500 sign-on bonus is available after 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent and at least six months in a foundry.
• Experience in cutoff, snag, or forming capacity preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals.

What You Can Expect

Completes basic operations using such equipment as wax molds, soldering gun, cut off wheels and automated machinery. Adheres to safety guidelines.

Shift: Shift 5A is 10am-10pm - Fri/Sat/Sun

What Makes You Stand Out

• Reads and interprets documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Proficient use of thread gauges. Adds, subtracts, multiples and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Minimal direct decision-making responsibility. Advises the Department Supervisor, designee, of special concerns as thet arise. Carries out detailed written or oral instructions. Deals with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situation

Your Background

• Requires a high school education or equivalent and a minimum of six months experience in a foundry environment working in cutoff, snag or forming capacity.

• Prior inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.
