Job summary

Zimmer Biomet in Indiana is seeking a dedicated foundry operator to manage molten metal pouring and subsequent melting operations, including loading preheat furnaces and operating shell knock-off equipment.

The role requires reading precision measuring equipment, blueprints, and data entry, working primarily at night from 10pm to 6am, with a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

What You Can Expect

This position is responsible for the molten metal pouring operations and subsequent melting operations to remove castings from the trees.

Shift:

10pm - 6am

How You'll Create Impact

• Loading preheat furnaces and operating shell knock off equipment such as shot blast and cut-off saw.
• Operate the gate removal equipment, various blasting machines, mass finishing and solution anneal furnaces.
• Perform work while standing 95% of the time.

Your Background

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of six months experience in foundry operations including handling and processing molten metal and performing basis support functions.
• Basic math skills, capable or working in a high temperature environment.
