Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of investment banking experience.
• SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses preferred, or must attain within 90 days of hire date.
• Demonstrated ability to manage key workstreams within M&A transactions.
• Experience interacting directly with clients and supporting presentations and strategic discussions.
• Proven leadership experience, including overseeing junior team members and reviewing deliverables.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.

WCF is the investment banking and corporate finance arm of Wipfli Advisory LLC, and offers a full suite of investment banking services tailored for middle-market companies and capital providers with a focus on sell-side M&A transactions.

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $129,000-$174,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.

Investment Banking Associates at WCF receive a competitive base salary plus a substantial incentive component tied to successful transaction closings. Incentives are paid only when deals close, reinforcing alignment with performance.

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
