Job Description

We are looking for a candidate to fill a Sr. Analyst / Associate position in our Debt Private Placements Group based in New York. This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a new and growing team led by an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience across private credit, hedge funds and investment banking. The recently launched Debt Private Placements Group will partner with Oppenheimer’s Industry Coverage bankers to raise capital for the firm’s investment banking clients via the private credit market across all sectors and credit asset classes.

The position will serve as a critical member of the team, working directly with the Head of the Debt Private Placements and other senior professionals, as well as cross-functional Managing Directors, Executive Directors, and sector banking teams of all levels on pitches and engagements. The successful candidate will be given significant responsibility in transaction execution.

Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day transaction execution under direction of the Head of the Debt Private Placements Group
• Lead pitch drafting as well as transaction marketing documents
• Preparing and reviewing complex financial analyses and models
• Presenting materials internally to senior bankers and externally to clients of the firm

Compensation:

For job postings in New York City, Oppenheimer is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making salary decisions including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 at the time of this posting. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.
