Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a Vice President for its Media & Communications Investment Banking team to drive growth on high-profile transactions. You will build relationships with corporate and financial institution clients and work across M&A, restructurings, loans, and equity/debt raises.

You will lead deal processes, coordinate junior bankers, and refine materials for client impact while managing risks and negotiations with counterparties.

Qualifications

• Front office investment banking experience at senior associate or VP level preferred.
• Experience training junior bankers.
• Strong written and verbal communication, concise client pitches.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary day-to-day client point of contact and lead banker on deals.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to join our Media & Communications team, offering an exceptional opportunity to contribute to high-profile transactions and drive growth within a leading financial institution.

Job Summary

As a seasoned Media & Communications Investment Banking professional, you’ll have experience developing strong relationships with corporates and financial institution clients and working across different products. You’ll work on deals and transaction across the spectrum of our banking products, including mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, loans, and equity capital and debt capital raises.

Job Responsibilities

• Acting as the primary day-to-day client point of contact and lead banker on deals
• Reviewing and coordinating the analytical work of junior bankers to move marketing/execution processes forward
• Refining marketing/execution materials for maximum client impact
• Overseeing the creation of financial projection models, which are maintained by media and communications industry team in coordination with M&A partners
• Identifying and managing all risks in a given deal
• Liaising with other internal and external parties on transactions (e.g., product partners, lawyers, accountants, counterparties)
• Leading client negotiations, Q&A processes and management presentations
• Act as sector captain for at least one media and/or communications sub-vertical, including monthly newsletter, sector trends and valuation reference metrics
• Establishing relationships with peers at corporate clients and prospects, as well as private equity sponsors and other institutional investment firms
• Sourcing new deal opportunities in coordination with senior bankers

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Prior work experience in an investment banking front office role, preferably at the Senior Associate or Vice President level at a money center or boutique investment bank
• Experience in training junior bankers
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity
• Very strong quantitative and analytical skills (including Excel modelling and valuation work)
• Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, and have the aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and to develop innovative solutions
• Adaptability, able to manage projects independently and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of a team
• Ability to comfortably interact with clients in a professional and mature manner
• Excellent understanding of financial, legal and reputational risks facing large integrated investment banks in today's environment banks
