Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking an Investment Banking Associate for its growing Mergers & Acquisitions team in New York. The role focuses on strategic sell-side, buy-side, and capital advisory transactions across diverse industries, partnering with senior bankers and clients.

You will execute live M&A deals, build complex financial models, prepare critical materials, and coordinate due diligence while mentoring analysts and driving deal processes on a direct path to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of investment banking experience.
• Current Investment Banking Associate or Senior Associate at a bulge bracket, elite boutique, middle market investment bank, or independent advisory firm.
• Strong M&A transaction execution experience.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously.
