Job summary

Capital One in Bloomington, MN is launching a two-year Investment Banking Development Program designed to accelerate your career in Capital Markets. You’ll join as a full-time Analyst across Derivatives, Financing, KippsDeSanto or TripleTree, with hands-on training, client exposure, and opportunities for upward mobility.

We seek candidates with a bachelor’s degree by July 2027, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and strong communication, analytical and quantitative skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with expected completion by July 2027 or earlier
• At least 1 year of investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or public accounting experience
• Majors: Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Data Science
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Exceptional quantitative, analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
• Knowledge of general accounting and finance principles
• Passion for the financial markets and the economy
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative and dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Create client marketing presentations, memoranda, and other materials
• Develop an in depth understanding of investment banking products and services
• Conduct industry and market research
• Prepare and analyze historical and projected financial performance
• Assist in the preparation of valuation models
• Work closely with Capital One’s relationship bankers and Underwriting teams to provide Capital Markets insight and deepen the product and/or advisory suite for their clients
