Investment Banking Coverage Analyst is a junior analyst role supporting industry coverage groups at investment banks. The position requires building financial models, conducting industry and market research, supporting live transactions, preparing pitch books and client presentations, and collaborating closely with senior bankers on deal strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models, including 3‑statement, DCF, LBO, and accretion/dilution analyses
• Conduct in‑depth industry, market, and company research within a specific sector
• Support live M&A, equity, debt, and restructuring transactions for coverage clients
• Prepare pitch books, management presentations, investment memoranda, and client updates
• Assist with due diligence, data room coordination, and transaction execution
• Maintain client materials, market updates, and valuation databases
• Collaborate closely with senior bankers on client strategy, origination, and relationship management

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
• Solid understanding of investment banking and corporate finance fundamentals
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple client and deal workstreams in a fast‑paced environment
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
