Job summary

Nomura's Technology Investment Banking team seeks an Associate to work with senior bankers on deal execution, client coverage and new business development. You will apply technology sector expertise with strong financial analysis, due diligence and presentation skills to deliver client-ready materials.

Requires MBA or graduate degree desirability and a minimum of 3 years in investment banking; familiarity with software tech; strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills; SIE, Series 63/79 licenses.

Qualifications

• MBA or other relevant graduate degree desirable, but not required.
• A minimum of 3 years of total investment banking experience.
• Demonstrated track record within the Technology sector is a requirement; specific Software experience is strongly preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the corporate banking business and its related products, pertinent regulations and lending and credit approval processes.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• SIE, Series 63 and 79.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $175K and $200K/year* (see below footnote for additional compensation and benefits information).

Department Overview

As a member of the Technology Investment Banking team, you will be working with the team’s senior bankers on deal execution, client coverage and new business development. This role combines deep technology sector expertise with requisite investment banking skillsets including strong team building, financial analysis and process management capabilities. As an Associate, specific responsibilities of your role will include:

n Outstanding academic qualifications: MBA or other relevant graduate degree desirable, but not required
