Job summary
Citizens Bank in Boston is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to support senior professionals in Transportation & Logistics, Industrial Distribution, and Waste sectors. The Associate will help originate and execute M&A, leveraged finance and ECM transactions, working closely with senior bankers to drive deals to close.
You will develop client pitches, perform extensive financial modeling, and supervise analysts while coordinating with product groups and sponsors.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of direct investment banking experience with client interaction.
- Strong academic record; MBA is a strong plus but not required.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; financial services software experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in evaluation and execution of M&A, securities issuance, and capital restructuring.
- Prepare financial analyses, pitch materials, and board presentations.
- Draft memorandums and road show materials for client meetings.
- Develop new business ideas with senior bankers and client teams.
- Model various transaction scenarios and conduct market research.
- Lead and supervise analysts during execution and due diligence.
