Position Overview

They are seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Associate to join their dynamic team. The Associate will support the execution of capital raising, M&A, and project finance transactions in the clean energy sector. The role provides exposure to market-leading deals and the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and external stakeholders, including developers, institutional investors, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support deal execution for project finance, tax equity, and M&A transactions in the renewable energy space.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate potential investments and financings.
• Conduct due diligence on renewable energy projects and companies.
• Prepare investment memos, presentations, and marketing materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze market trends, policy impacts, and regulatory frameworks affecting green energy investments.
• Coordinate with legal, technical, and development teams to facilitate transaction closing.
• Assist in origination efforts by identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, project finance, private equity, or a similar financial institution.
• Deep understanding of renewable energy markets (solar, wind, storage, etc.), energy policy, and structured finance
• 2+ years of Tax Equity experience
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field, as well as an MBA or CFA, is a plus.
