Job summary

Stifel Europe in Paris is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst Intern for a 6-month internship in the Business and Tech-Enabled Services group. You will support deal execution, prepare client materials and build financial models, gaining exposure to a range of Pan-European transactions.

Ideal candidates are high-achieving students with strong English, quantitative skills and an interest in European mid-market advisory. Salary is competitive with discretionary bonus.

Responsibilities

• Support mandates across M&A, IPOs, public takeovers and private placements for Pan-European and international growth.

• Perform financial analyses, modelling and valuation (LBO, DCF, comps).
• Assist deal team in execution of transactions, investor outreach, due diligences and Q&A.
• Contribute to corporate presentations, sector screenings and investor lists.

We are currently recruiting interns to support the growing activity of our Business and Tech-Enabled Services Investment Banking Department

Duties & Responsibilities

The intern’s work will include:

• Mandates over a broad range of deal types including M&A, IPOs, Public Takeovers, and Private Placements for Pan-European and international growth companies
• Drafting of client presentations including pitches, teasers, information memorandums, management presentations and valuation books
• Performing company’s financial analyses, modelling and valuation (LBO, DCF, trading peers, transaction comps, etc.)
• Assisting the deal team in the execution of transactions (reach out to investors, due diligences, Q&A, process tracking)
• Other occasional tasks such as corporate presentations, sector screenings, investor’s lists, etc.
