Senior Analyst, Investment Banking

The Senior Investment Banking Analyst role offers an opportunity to work on complex financial transactions while developing advanced analytical and technical skills in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. This position supports senior bankers in executing M&A transactions, equity and debt financings, and strategic advisory assignments across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial modeling initiatives including DCF analysis, LBO models, merger consequences analysis, and comparable company/precedent transaction analyses
• Prepare comprehensive valuation analyses using multiple methodologies to support strategic recommendations
• Draft detailed pitch books, client presentations, and other transaction materials
• Conduct in-depth industry and company research to support business development initiatives and live deals
• Manage and mentor junior analysts while overseeing multiple workflow streams
• Develop and maintain client relationships alongside senior bankers
• Coordinate due diligence processes and manage virtual data rooms
• Review and analyze financial statements, regulatory filings, and industry reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from top-tier university
• 2-3 years investment banking experience
• Superior financial modeling and valuation skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and standard financial databases (Capital IQ, Bloomberg, FactSet)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Series 79 and 63 licenses required or must be obtained within specified timeframe
• Technology sector transaction experience preferred, but open to other sector coverage areas
