Selby Jennings represents a Palm Beach-based venture firm investing across AI, cybersecurity, aerospace, defense tech, software, and data infrastructure. The Associate will work with the investment team on sourcing, market research, due diligence, and portfolio support, gaining meaningful responsibility alongside senior investors.
Ideal candidate has 1–4 years in investment banking, strong academic credentials, and a passion for technology and investing.
Formación
- 1–4 years of investment banking experience.
- Experience at bulge bracket, elite boutique, or leading middle market bank.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated interest in investing and technology.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsabilidades
- Evaluate and analyze prospective investment opportunities
- Conduct industry, market, and competitive landscape research
- Build financial models and perform valuation analyses
- Support investment due diligence and transaction execution
- Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials
- Participate in management meetings and company evaluations
- Monitor portfolio company performance and support strategic initiatives
- Assist with sourcing and screening new investment opportunities
