Job summary

Northern Trust in Miami, FL is seeking an Investment Associate to support Senior Portfolio Advisors in FIA practice, handling client relationships and admin tasks for OCIO portfolios ranging $10–$500 million.

The role focuses on preparing client materials, performance reviews, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure compliance and timely reporting. A strong communication and analytical skillset is essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of a four-year college degree program is required or equivalent work experience.
• Any major is acceptable; however, business, economics, accounting, and finance are preferred.
• Candidates with prior experience in financial services as an investment associate are preferred.
• Enrolled in or willingness to enroll in and complete the CFA or CIMA program is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create client presentations that review performance and outlook.
• Assist with development of custom investment portfolios and client communications.
• Assess portfolio performance relative to benchmarks.
• Evaluate and recommend investment manager changes.
• Conduct asset allocation analysis for clients.
• Support new business efforts and participate in presentations.
• Assist with compliance reviews.
