Emergence is hiring an Investment Associate to own the investment execution process from sourcing through close, with responsibility across due diligence, modeling, and post-closing integration in enterprise software. You will collaborate with legal, finance, and operations to drive clean deal execution and shareholder value.

The role emphasizes strong LBO/DCF modeling and the ability to communicate complex findings in Investment Committee memos.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in private equity, growth equity, or investment banking with direct deal execution exposure.
• Full diligence process experience with a closed transaction.
• Strong modeling: LBO, DCF, and SaaS KPI frameworks.
• Clear, concise IC memo writing that stands on its own.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial and operational due diligence on acquisition targets, owning the workstream from kickoff to IC.
• Build comprehensive financial models including unit economics, valuation, and operating leverage.
• Run quality of earnings analyses and manage working capital and indebtedness definitions.
• Write and present Investment Committee memos with clear diligence findings and defensible POV.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations to drive clean deal execution and post-close integration.
