Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Support investment pipeline sourcing and ongoing management.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative due diligence on private market funds and co-investments across Private Equity, Private Credit, Search, Venture, Real Estate, and others.
• Participate in due diligence sessions with prospective fund and co-investments.
• Independently prepare investment materials including deal offering summaries, investment memos, and portfolio updates, among others.
• Monitor existing investments and assist in preparation of member facing materials, including periodic reporting updates, pipeline outlooks, and more.
• Contribute to Long Angle’s thought leadership including conducting industry trend research and topical whitepapers.
• Work hand in hand with the Investor Relations team to provide best-in-class investor support.
• Assist in improving internal business and investment processes, supporting other functions as necessary (fundraising, operations, legal), and new investment product launches and key initiatives.
• Work directly with investment leadership to execute on the team’s sales funnel engaging directly with investors proactively and frequently.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in private markets, ideally within asset management, family office, endowment, fund of funds, private equity, or a similar investment organizations focused on private markets
• Strong understanding of the private markets landscape and key trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distill complex content for both internal and external materials.
• Process orientated with the desire to build an institutional quality, industry leading investment organization.
• Team player with the ability to work independently with strong project management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA preferred; progress towards completion of either the CFA or CAIA is viewed favorably.
• Familiarity with SPV and feeder fund structures is highly desirable.
• Experience working with Very High Net Worth individuals is beneficial.
