Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

An Asset Manager is seeking an experienced professional to join their Investment team as an Associate in their New York City office.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth underwriting of investment opportunities through collateral-specific credit analysis, including development of charge-off curves, assessment of loss coverage, and calculation of projected investment returns
• Analyze due diligence materials with a particular focus on evaluating and modeling loan tapes for credit evaluation
• Demonstrate expertise in financial statement analysis and the mechanics of fixed-income transactions
• Manage and interpret large, complex datasets with efficiency and precision
• Draft detailed investment memoranda with a high level of accuracy and clarity
• Contribute to all phases of deal execution, providing analytical and operational support throughout the process
• Monitor portfolio companies to ensure accurate financial reporting and prepare regular performance assessments
• Support deal sourcing efforts by identifying high-potential companies and coordinating introductory meetings
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of professional experience in private credit investing, investment banking, debt capital markets, leveraged finance, structured or asset-based finance, or restructuring
• Solid understanding of credit underwriting methodologies and core accounting principles
• Proficient in Excel with advanced modeling skills; experience with Alteryx is a plus
