Job summary

CRE Finance Council in New York seeks an Investment Associate to participate in the evaluation, underwriting, due diligence, and closing of new opportunities, as well as analysis of existing investments.

You will underwrite and price loans, lead due diligence, review loan documentation, value CRE assets in the NYC metro, and prepare memoranda for the Investment Committee while building fund models and scenario analyses.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years CRE underwriting experience, with strong Excel, Argus and financial modeling.
• Experience with loan data tapes, portfolio-level analysis, scenario testing, and waterfalls.
• Proven ability to write investment memoranda and present to committees.

A private equity fund manager that invests in distressed debt secured by commercial real estate is looking to hire an Investment Associate. The Associate will participate in the evaluation, underwriting, due diligence, and transaction closing of new investment opportunities, as well as the analysis of existing investments.
