Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business or related field
• 2–5 years of work experience in real estate investment/development; background in investment banking or consulting is a plus
• Advanced Excel modeling capabilities; proficiency in AI tools and ARGUS DCF is preferred
• Strong analytical, problem solving, writing, and communication skills
• Willingness to travel required

Responsibilities

• Lead financial analysis and prepare presentation materials for potential investment opportunities
• Interface directly with investment sales brokers, joint venture partners, lenders to source, analyze, and execute on pipeline
• Conduct detailed research and analysis on market, sectors, and investment strategies

Regent Properties is seeking an Investment Associate to join its Dallas office and drive growth through disciplined acquisitions and active management across our multi-strategy platform.

We are seeking candidates with a passion for real estate development and investment who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role offers immediate ownership of acquisitions and asset management responsibilities across a growing portfolio and multiple platforms. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong analytical rigor, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to long-term relationship building with institutional partners.

Primary areas of focus include:

Acquisitions

• Leading financial analysis and preparing presentation materials for potential investment opportunities
• Interfacing directly with investment sales brokers, joint venture partners, lenders to source, analyze, and execute on pipeline
• Conducting detailed research and analysis on market, sectors, and investment strategies

Asset Management

• Supporting value creation initiatives through the investment lifecycle, including capital structure analysis, annual business planning, financing optimization, leasing coordination, capital improvement management, and exit strategy execution

Day-to-day work includes:

• Creating complex financial models
• Preparing presentations and investment memoranda to Senior Management and investment partners
• Conducting market research and analysis
• Maintaining and monitoring acquisition pipeline
• Interfacing regularly with local brokers, third party consultants, attorneys, investment partners and transaction counterparties
• Coordinating with property management, consulting teams, and internal/external stakeholders across multiple geographies to support operational excellence
• Supporting development feasibility analysis, entitlement strategy, and pre-acquisition market evaluations for potential acquisitions in pipeline

Qualifications, Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or related field
• 2-5 years of work experience in real estate investment/development; background in investment banking or consulting is a plus
• Advanced Excel modeling capabilities required; proficiency in AI tools and ARGUS DCF is preferred
• Strong analytical, problem solving, writing, and communication skills
• Proven ability to absorb and analyze complex material to produce timely, accurate, insightful, and concise work product
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• High level of initiative and strong work ethic; creativity and entrepreneurial spirit
• Demonstrated track record of achievement
• Willingness to travel required
