Job summary

BFG Financial Advisors seeks a skilled investment professional to manage and execute trades for all investment offerings in accordance with internal processes. The role emphasizes timely, accurate trade implementation and maintaining thorough due diligence notes.

You will monitor equity and fixed income holdings for rating changes, maintain investment records, and support the performance reporting system for clients and advisors.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute trades for all investment offerings according to internal processes.
• Implement trades in a timely fashion with a high level of accuracy.
• Verify all direct business trades with the carrier in a timely fashion.
• Execute daily trading requests and rebalancing; maintain due diligence notes.
• Monitor equity and fixed income holdings for rating changes, liquidations, splits; communicate updates to senior analysts and advising team.
• Maintain inventory of firm investment assets; ensure holdings data and investment records are accurate for reporting and research.
• Maintain manager records in CRM and the investment playbook for the advisors.
• Prepare meeting summary reports for annuities.
• Assist with annuity paperwork, licensing, and appointments.
• Primary contact for the firms performance reporting system for clients and the team; coordinate data integration across systems.
• Assist with online issues for clients or staff; attend conferences and team meetings; train and mentor analysts and traders.
• Implement Plan of Work annually or as position evolves; serve on Investment Committee.
