Job summary

The David and Lucile Packard Foundation in Los Altos, CA is seeking an Investment Analyst to work broadly across our endowment portfolio and support senior team members through rigorous financial analysis. You will collect and synthesize data, conduct due diligence on managers, and prepare investment memos for the Investment Committee, with in-person collaboration three days per week.

Candidates should have CFA designation in process, 2–3 years of analytical investing experience, strong Excel

Qualifications

• Chartered Financial Analyst designation in process or intended.
• Two to three years of work experience in an analytical investing role.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and synthesize portfolio-wide data on exposures and performance.
• Monitor news flow and industry research relevant to the portfolio.
• Conduct analyses on existing and prospective fund managers and strategies.
• Prepare investment memos and materials for Investment Committee discussions.
• Lead analytical projects and mentor junior Analysts.
• Build relationships with peer institutions and fund managers.
• Participate in meetings and due diligence with managers; in-person three days weekly.
