Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions is seeking an Investment Analyst Intern for our U.S. team in Plymouth, MN.

This full-time paid internship runs 8–12 weeks starting in early June 2027, giving hands-on experience with fixed income markets, credit analysis, and portfolio risk management. You will work directly with portfolio managers and analysts, learning to analyze investment-grade and non-investment-grade companies while building financial models and supporting reporting for the investment

The opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for an Investment Analyst Intern to join our Intact Investment Management team in our Plymouth, MN office located at 605 Highway 169 North. This is a full-time, paid internship starting in early June 2027 and lasting approximately 8–12 weeks. The Investment Analyst Intern will have the opportunity to learn from and contribute to the US fixed income team. This position would gain exposure to fixed income markets, corporate credit analysis and will work directly with portfolio managers and analysts. During the internship, you will gain skills analyzing investment grade and non-investment grade companies, providing analysis on fixed income markets, conducting security analysis and supporting risk management across our fixed income portfolios. This position is primarily focused on credit research and analysis.

Job Functions:

Qualifications required:

• Finance, Economic, or Business degree (completed or in progress)
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
• 0-1 years of relevantprofessional experience
• Passion for investments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong conviction
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Team player, highly collaborative and strong work ethic
• High ethical standards
• Experience with programming languages: VBA, Python

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SQL

Compensation: $28/hour
