Responsibilities

• Build financial models and in-depth analyses to evaluate potential investment opportunities.
• Prepare new deal executive summaries and investment committee memorandums.
• Conduct due diligence, including risk assessment, sensitivity analysis and market and competitive analysis.
• Monitor portfolio companies, including tracking performance, reporting and valuations, and supporting value-creation initiatives such as add-on acquisitions, KPI management and growth strategy.
• Assist with ad hoc requests related to investor relations and fundraising.
• Participate in meetings with management teams, sponsors, co-investors, lenders, intermediaries and other Patriot stakeholders.
• Participate in Patriot's AI implementation efforts across origination, underwriting and portfolio management.

The position is an excellent opportunity to participate firsthand in the firm’s investing activities, including evaluating and conducting due diligence on new investments and supporting the firm’s portfolio management functions for its existing portfolio. Founded in 2000, the Patriot Capital Group has invested over $1.3 billion across six SBIC funds in more than 165 lower-middle-market businesses, offering the opportunity to join and learn alongside an established, industry-respected team.
