About the Opportunity

GTM Talent is recruiting on behalf of a Chicago-based real estate investment firm focused on senior housing and operationally complex real estate. The firm combines institutional investment discipline with an entrepreneurial, hands-on approach to value creation.

Our client is hiring a Real Estate Investment Analyst to support acquisitions, underwriting, portfolio strategy, and investment decision-making across a growing portfolio.

The priority is someone who has been trained as a real estate analyst and brings strong underwriting and financial modeling skills. Senior housing experience is preferred, but not required. Candidates may come from multifamily, healthcare real estate, industrial, office, investment sales, real estate private equity, or real estate debt and capital markets.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain acquisition and underwriting models
• Evaluate investments and prepare return analyses
• Analyze market data, comps, operating performance, and assumptions

What We’re Looking For

• 1 to 4 years of professional experience in a real estate analyst role
• Strong real estate underwriting and financial modeling skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Senior housing experience preferred, but not required
• Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate investment conclusions clearly
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in a lean environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or related field
