Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a knowledgeable ETF research and content specialist to support active and passive ETF strategies. The role focuses on macro research, data-driven decision support, and creating investment content for internal and external audiences.

You will automate workflows, assist in portfolio operations, and collaborate with portfolio managers to optimize ETF decisions. The position requires on-site training and a hybrid work pattern thereafter.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• Strong market knowledge and intellectual curiosity.
• Ability to investigate questions, validate data, and communicate conclusions clearly.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Experience with Python, workflow automation, financial data platforms, or AI-enabled research tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in oversight and management of active and passive ETFs across equity, fixed income, and derivative strategies.
• Conduct macroeconomic, market, sector, security-level, and ETF industry research.
• Support passive and active investment strategies and portfolio managers’ data-driven decisions.
• Develop investment content for internal and external audiences, including ETF insights, market commentary, presentations, and client updates.
• Improve and automate recurring research, reporting, data-validation, and portfolio-management workflows.
• Support day-to-day portfolio management operations, including trade execution, cash management, corporate actions, and portfolio administration.
• Work closely with Portfolio Managers to support investment decisions and ETF portfolio management.

Job description

• Support passive and active investment strategies and portfolio managers’ data-driven decisions
• Develop investment content for internal and external audiences, including ETF insights, market commentary, presentations, sales materials, and client-facing updates
• Improve and automate recurring research, reporting, data-validation, and portfolio-management workflows
• Support day-to-day portfolio management operations, including trade execution, cash management, corporate actions, and portfolio administration
• Work closely with Portfolio Managers to support investment decisions, operational efficiency, and ETF portfolio management
