Build Relationships. Grow Assets. Build Your Career.
TrendHR is partnering with a growing
boutique wealth management firm in Rockwall, Texas, to identify an
Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) to join its team.
This opportunity is built for an advisor who knows how to connect with people, earn trust, and turn interested prospects into long-term client relationships.
This is not a cold-calling role.
The firm has established marketing relationships, events, referral channels, and lead-generation systems that consistently produce prospective clients. You'll be provided with
active, interested leads and a proven process for moving those relationships from initial conversation to new client.
The firm's sweet spot is primarily
high-net-worth households with approximately $1 million to $10 million in investable assets, although relationships may fall above or below that range.
What You'll Do
- Work directly with qualified prospective clients provided through the firm's existing lead channels
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand financial goals, assets, concerns, risk tolerance, and long-term objectives
- Build trust with high-net-worth individuals and families
- Guide prospects through the firm's established, step-by-step advisory process
- Convert qualified prospects into long-term wealth management clients
- Present investment, financial planning, and wealth management solutions
- Help grow Assets Under Management through new client acquisition
- Maintain consistent follow-up and accurately manage opportunities through the firm's CRM
- Collaborate with internal advisors and support professionals to deliver a high-quality client experience
- Participate in educational seminars, client events, and other firm-sponsored lead-generation activities
- Conduct meetings primarily from the Rockwall office or via Zoom, with some evening events and appointments
- Maintain all required client documentation and operate in accordance with applicable fiduciary and regulatory standards
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is
relationship-focused and sales-minded.
The right person doesn't necessarily need decades of wealth management experience. The firm has a highly structured and repeatable process and is willing to develop someone who can learn quickly, follow the system, and execute.
- Active Series 65 or Series 66, and/or CFP designation
- Registered or eligible to register as an Investment Advisor Representative
- Strong sales, relationship-development, or client-acquisition background
- Ability to confidently communicate with high-net-worth individuals and families
- Proven ability to move prospects through a sales or advisory process and close business
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Highly coachable with the ability to learn and execute an established process
- Salesforce or similar CRM experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of fiduciary responsibility and client-first service
- High ethical standards and professional judgment
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related discipline preferred
Life and Health insurance licensing will ultimately be needed. The firm is willing to provide the necessary training and cover licensing expenses for the right candidate.
A Proven Process. Not a Blank Sheet of Paper .
One of the biggest advantages of this opportunity is that you aren't being hired and told to simply "go find some clients."
The firm is
extremely process-driven.
Client meetings, follow-up, messaging, presentations, and the overall prospect journey have been developed into a repeatable system. New advisors are trained on the process, including how meetings are structured, how opportunities are followed up on, and how prospective clients are moved toward a decision.
You bring the ability to connect with people, learn quickly, follow the process, and close.
The firm provides the system and opportunities.
Compensation & Long-Term Potential
In addition to base compensation, advisors participate in a performance-based compensation structure tied to
new business, Assets Under Management, and insurance production.
Strong performers have the potential to earn approximately
$150,000 – $180,000 in their first year, with significant additional upside as their production and recurring business grow.
Unlike a traditional salary-only position, the compensation model is designed so that successful advisors can continue benefiting financially from the business they build over time.
Who Will Thrive Here?
This could be an exceptional fit for an advisor who is currently managing relationships or supporting a substantial book of business but wants greater upside tied to their own production.
It could also be a great next step for a
high-performing, earlier-career advisor who has the appropriate licensing and sales ability but hasn't yet been given the leads, training, process, or opportunity to build a significant book.
The common denominator is simple:
You need to enjoy winning new relationships.
If you're energized by sitting across from an interested prospect, understanding what matters to them, building trust, and ultimately earning the opportunity to manage their wealth, this role offers the infrastructure and earning potential to build something substantial.
