Compensation: $75,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus + Revenue Share | Full-Time | W2
About the Role
Our client, an established and growing wealth management team, is hiring a licensed Financial Advisor for a full-time, in-office role. This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven advisor seeking to build a book of business with greater stability than a traditional commission-only path. The ideal candidate is a true hunter: someone energized by getting in front of people, opening doors, building referral channels, and turning new relationships into long-term clients.
This is not a maintenance or service-only role. It is a growth seat for someone who wants to actively build the market, create momentum, and grow their own book, while having the credibility, support, and infrastructure of an established advisory team behind them.
What You’ll Do
- Build a pipeline of prospective clients through networking, referrals, community involvement, centers of influence, and consistent outreach
- Develop and follow a clear business development plan with measurable prospecting, follow-up, and production goals
- Lead and support client conversations across financial planning, investments, retirement planning, insurance, risk management, and related wealth planning needs
- Convert prospects into long-term client relationships through discovery, planning conversations, and coordinated next steps
- Identify insurance and protection planning opportunities, including life, disability, long-term care, business protection, and related risk management needs
- Work closely with senior advisors, operations, client service, and planning support to deliver a strong client experience
- Maintain accurate CRM notes, follow compliance requirements, and ensure timely client follow-up
What We’re Looking For
- Active investment advisory/securities licensing required; Series 7 and Series 66 preferred
- Active Life & Health Insurance license required
- Experience in wealth management, financial planning, insurance, advisory sales, trust company, or another client-facing financial services role
- Strong business development mindset with the drive to prospect, network, generate referrals, ask for business, and build a book over time
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain financial concepts clearly
- High accountability, resilience, initiative, and comfort working toward production goals
- Able to work in person five days per week in Kennett Square, PA
- CFP, ChFC, CLU, RICP, or related coursework/designations are a plus
Why This Role
- Join an established wealth management team with planning, operations, investment, and client service support, allowing this role to focus on high-impact client-facing growth work, with an emphasis on advancing relationships, uncovering opportunities, and driving long-term book development
- Rare W2 opportunity to build your own book with a foundational salary
- More stability than a commission-only advisor path, with meaningful upside tied to growth
- In-person role with strong opportunity to build local market presence in and around Kennett Square
