Compensation: Equity-based executive role with upside tied to successful fundraising; salary potential aligned with future financing rounds

About Us

Critical Sports & Entertainment (CSE) is a rapidly scaling sports and entertainment platform operating at the intersection of live events, athlete management, and cultural innovation. With seven management divisions and eight live event companies — three of which have grown exponentially this year — CSE is positioning itself as one of the most ambitious players in the industry.

Our ecosystem includes 70+ clients, 18+ professional athlete advisors, and an event portfolio that currently draws 800+ attendees per activation, scaling to 2,500–4,000+ attendees in 2026. With a portfolio spanning combat sports, basketball, football, NIL, music, and crossover cultural events, we are building a multi-vertical platform designed to capture global attention.

We are currently in an active Series A raise, with additional financing and investment opportunities anticipated in the near future.

The Role

CSE is seeking an Investment Advisor to join its executive ranks, serving as a high-level strategist and capital-raising partner. This role is focused on supporting our ongoing fundraising efforts and advising on long-term capital strategy as we scale across multiple divisions.

Importantly, this position will serve as a direct senior advisor to the CEO, working closely on high-stakes financing decisions, investor relations, and growth strategies that shape the future of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on and execute fundraising strategy for our active Series A and future rounds
  • Serve as a direct senior advisor to the CEO on capital strategy, deal flow, and investor engagement
  • Leverage investor network to open doors across sports, entertainment, and cultural capital markets
  • Position CSE’s portfolio for strategic investors and potential co-investment opportunities
  • Support the CEO, CRO, and CFO in developing/refining financial narratives, investor decks, and due diligence materials
  • Provide insight on deal structuring, valuations, and potential exit strategies
  • Act as a long-term capital partner to ensure scalability across CSE’s divisions and live event platforms

Ideal Background

  • 10–20 years of experience in capital markets, private equity, venture capital, or investment banking
  • Proven track record raising capital, ideally in sports, entertainment, or live event industries
  • Strong network of investors spanning VC, PE, institutional capital, and high-net-worth individuals
  • Experience advising on startup or growth-stage company raises, including equity and convertible instruments
  • Strong understanding of valuation methods, financial modeling, and strategic partnerships
  • Ability to balance growth-stage startup realities with long-term institutional capital strategies
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take equity-first compensation tied to growth

Why Join CSE

  • Opportunity to shape the capital strategy of one of the fastest-scaling sports and entertainment platforms in the U.S.
  • Serve as a senior-level advisor directly to the CEO while building alongside an ambitious executive team with backgrounds across sports, culture, and business
  • Equity upside tied to long-term growth and successful financing rounds
  • Front-row seat to live events and sports properties at the center of culture

Joining CSE means becoming part of a bold, culture-shaping company that is redefining the future of sports and entertainment through innovation, scale, and impact.
