Job summary

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in investment accounting, strong knowledge of reinsurance, CPA/CMA preferred, and excellent communication skills to guide a growing team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment accounting, preferably in insurance.
• Strong expertise with the Singularity investment platform.
• Proven ability to own reporting and ensure accurate, compliant investment documentation.
• Deep knowledge of reinsurance accounting and regulatory requirements.
• Leadership experience with the ability to guide and develop a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of insurance investment accounting and reinsurance accounting.
• Utilize the Singularity platform to manage and monitor investments.
• Act as internal Singularity expert, guiding teammates.
• Ensure investment documentation is accurate and compliant with industry standards.
• Own reporting responsibilities: prepare, review, and present financial statements and reports.
• Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement investment strategies.
• continually evaluate accounting practices and drive improvements.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
