Responsibilities

  • Investigates reported complaints of workers’ compensation violations and issues Stop Work Orders when violations are found.
  • Conducts self-initiated employer checks to ensure compliance with workers’ compensation laws.
  • Prepare clear investigation reports documenting observations and interviews for agency records.
  • Gather evidence (photos, video, documents) to support Stop Work Orders and case actions.
  • Testifies at hearings and assists DIA attorneys in case preparation as needed.
  • Conducts surveillance and site visits as required; maintains confidentiality and professionalism.
