Job summary

Woods Services in Langhorne, PA seeks an Investigator to conduct investigations supporting health, safety and rights of individuals served. You will interview staff and witnesses, review documents, and prepare reports with findings for regulatory and funding bodies.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Compliance and Licensing, Legal, HR, and management; using HCSIS/EIM databases; and attending hearings when required. On-call availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in the Human, Social, Behavioral, Nursing or Criminal Sciences and two years Human Service, Law Enforcement or investigative experience.
• Must be a Pennsylvania Certified Investigator, or obtain certification within 3 months, and maintain certification by completing continuing education requirements.
• Experience with IDD or Mental Health populations; on-call nights/weekends/holidays; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Investigates incidents as mandated by regulations at Woods Services and affiliates.
• Plans the scope/direction of the investigation with the Initial Reporter.
• Interviews individuals, staff and witnesses; collects and analyzes evidence.
• Writes investigative reports with findings and HR determinations; inputs data into HCSIS/EIM.
• Coordinates with Compliance, Legal, HR and management; responds to inquiries from agencies.
