About Our Team

The LexisNexis Public Safety Special Investigations Unit comprises former law enforcement Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who utilize the full suite of LexisNexis offerings to assist clients. The team supports law enforcement during critical incidents and major investigations, providing remote or on-site assistance as needed.

About The Role

This role provides support to customers as an Investigative Trainer, bridging the gap between customer needs and outcomes as a subject matter expert on LexisNexis and Accurint TraX (ZetX) solutions within the SIU. The trainer will be highly proficient in Accurint TraX resources and cellular investigative processes, training and educating internal and external customers on best practices and post-training support.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and conduct training on using LexisNexis and Accurint TraX solutions for cellular investigations.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Provide hands-on, multi-day instructor-led training sessions.
  • Communicate complex processes clearly and effectively.
  • Engage actively with training attendees.
  • Design training materials and curriculum.
  • Operate professionally and independently, supporting data development, capability briefs, and reach-back support across teams.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve objectives.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives.
  • Manage education programs for key accounts, contributing to revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain professional customer education curricula, tracking and reporting results.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Expertise in cellular technology, criminal investigations, and law enforcement training is preferred.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, research, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing large customer-facing solutions.
  • Self-motivated, dynamic, and capable of working independently or in teams.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with i2 Analyst Notebook, Google Earth Pro, ESRI, and LexisNexis/Accurint TraX is a plus.
  • Availability for on-call support and approximately 50% travel.

Note: Access to criminal justice information requires passing background checks and CJIS compliance. Salary ranges vary by location, e.g., Illinois: $79,500 - $132,400 USD.
