You will gather facts from interviews, observation and research, build a network of sources, and work with management to develop investigative content and long-form reports for multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent experience may substitute for education.
• 3–5 years television reporting experience required.
• History with investigative and long-form story production.
• Strong vocal delivery, camera presence, and enunciation.

Responsibilities

• Produce content for multiple platforms (TV, internet, mobile)
• Enterprise and develop stories daily
• Gather and verify information via interviews, observation and research
• Organize material, determine angle, and write stories to editorial standards
• Build network of sources to stay ahead of competition
• Produce investigative stories following Nexstar standards
