Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to support investigational drug services and clinical trials across Intermountain hospitals and clinics.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage trial medications, and collaborate with investigators, coordinators, and pharmacy teams to advance patient care. The role emphasizes strategic trial operations, documentation, and education of staff, with focus on safety, quality, and adherence to protocols in a large integrated health

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or B.S. in Pharmacy from an accredited institution (education verified).
• License to practice pharmacy in the state of practice and dispense controlled substances.
• Current knowledge of state and federal regulations and statutes regarding the practice of pharmacy.
• Effective communication, people management, and project management skills.
• Immunization certification if applicable to practice site needs

Responsabilités

• Oversees the pharmaceutical aspects of clinical drug trials at Intermountain Healthcare, including investigator-initiated trials and sponsor trials.
• Facilitates rapport between Pharmacy Services, principal investigators, clinical trial coordinators, research assistants, and trial sponsors.
• Supports development of policies, SOPs, protocols, and other materials for clinical trial implementation.
• Acts as liaison for Pharmacy Services with principal investigators or trial coordinators to ensure safe and compliant trials.
• Attends interdisciplinary meetings related to clinical drug trials and study initiation visits.
• Maintains documentation of clinical drug trial activities including study summaries and dispensing procedures.
• Manages medication inventory for clinical trials including drug receipt, distribution, and waste.
• Monitors pharmacy activities to ensure adherence to study protocols and dispensing procedures.
• Collects and monitors reports related to clinical drug trials (e.g., incident reports, adverse drug reactions).
• Supports staff education and training related to clinical drug trials and provides drug information to healthcare professionals
• Participates in software selection for trial management and acts as a pharmacy learner preceptor
