Job summary

Accel Research Sites in Decatur is seeking a Part-time Pharmacy Technician to prepare and dispense investigational medications for clinical studies, ensuring compliance with GCP, ICH, HIPAA, FDA, USP 797/800, and SOPs.

Reporting to Adrienne Hilliard, the ideal candidate has an associate degree, a valid CPhT, bilingual English/Spanish a plus, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Experience with regulated drug handling is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense investigational medications.
• Provide drug-related information and education for subjects and site staff.
• Ensure compliance with GCP, ICH, HIPAA, FDA, USP 797/800 and SOPs.
• Maintain inventory records and proper storage conditions for investigational meds.
• Promote professional growth and mentor less experienced staff.
