Responsibilities

• Communicate with and obtain documents from agencies such as NYPD, ACS, OCME, and hospitals.
• Compile, analyze, and reproduce case documents and ensure redaction of documentation.
• Draft legal documents such as Motion Responses, Legal Memoranda, Search Warrants, Subpoenas, and Orders to Produce.
• Serve Takeout Orders and Orders to Produce on Department of Correction.
• Perform legal research.
• Notify police personnel and civilians to appear when necessary.
• Engage with Clerks to obtain certificates of dispositions when needed.
• Secure corroborating affidavits and obtain phone records and social media data.
