Job summary

Qualifications

• Duties require handling sensitive CJIS information and a thorough background check.
• CJIS privacy training must be completed within the first five business days from start date.
• Must obtain and maintain NCIC/TCIC, TCIC and TLETS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and document information for active investigations.
• Provide technical law enforcement support for CID cases.
• Exchange information with other law enforcement agencies as needed.
• Review data from electronic devices, public and law enforcement databases, and social media for evidence.
• Assist with preparation of cases and submissions to the District Attorney.
