Job summary

Strategic Support Solutions, LLC is seeking a Stock Clerk to support Navy tool cribs, Mega Centers and plant services at Norfolk facilities. The role involves maintaining stock levels, preparing requisitions, and issuing supplies to production teams.

Candidates should have knowledge of naval aviation tools, experience with IMRL inventories, and be comfortable handling hazardous materials. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data systems like MAXIMO/ATICS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Naval Aviation hand tools and measuring devices.
• Experience in an aviation maintenance tool room is desirable.
• Experience handling Hazardous Materials.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ATICS/MAXIMO data systems is a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma and ISO 9000 knowledge desirable.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, inventory and issue IMRL gear and related items.
• Count, sort or weigh incoming articles to verify receipts.
• Examine stock for conformance to specifications.
• Fill orders and prepare periodic inventories using data systems.
• Requisition articles to fill incoming orders and compile stock reports.
• Maintain lockers and issue HAZMAT following procedures.
• Follow safety and spill response training and participate in drills.
