Job summary

The City of Dallas seeks a Storekeeper to oversee receipt, storage, and issuance of supplies, materials, equipment, and parts for city departments. You will manage inventory, stock levels, and proper documentation in a busy warehouse setting.

Responsibilities include organizing storage spaces, pulling automotive parts, processing orders, and ensuring accurate data entry in inventory systems. A valid Texas driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 pounds are required, with some shifts

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in storekeeping, warehousing, automotive parts or sales with shipping/receiving/inventory responsibilities.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 75 pounds.
• Some roles require availability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receipt, storage and issuance of supplies and equipment for the City and its departments.
• Organizes, stores, delivers materials, and maintains inventory records.
• Operates equipment to move materials between yards and workstations.
• Pulls and prepares parts for repair orders and deliveries to service centers.
• Enters inventory data into the tracking system and keeps records up to date.
