Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a dedicated team member in Burlington, Vermont to support the blood collection operation by handling supplies, equipment, and kit preparation. You will manage inventory, assist with requisitions, and help train staff while delivering excellent customer service.

Typical duties include coordinating deliveries, maintaining a safe work area, and participating in donor logistics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills required.
• Current, valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds; physical stamina for required tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the blood collections operation by acquiring, distributing, and maintaining supplies and equipment.
• Take inventory and order supplies from the warehouse; fill requisitions from sites.
• May provide training and support to other staff.
• Interacting with internal and external customers in a positive, proactive manner.
• May drive blood collection vehicles to load/unload supplies as needed.
