Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum one year of experience in inventory control or related area.
Working knowledge of inventory internal controls and company procedures.
Basic knowledge of lumber math, lumber grades, and species.

Responsibilities

Work closely with buyers and plants to monitor and maintain all plant VMI programs.
Run inventory reports and answer questions from the team.
Communicate with vendor contacts and facilitate their needs.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate with plants and vendors.
Maintain VMI and cash contract records.
Prepare reports and correspondence as required.
Process import payables and share backup receptionist duties.
Assist in special projects and other duties as directed.
