Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an Inventory Manager to lead the Parts Inventory Collaboration (PIC) Systems Team within the Dealer Aftermarket Collaboration (DAC) organization.

You will own the PIC solution, data analytics suite, and related reporting for Caterpillar dealers and internal teams globally. The role emphasizes continued innovation, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability of data flows and interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field related to information systems, data analytics, or supply chain.
• Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools and processes to synthesize data from multiple sources.
• Understanding of Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) and inventory management principles.
• Ability to plan and organize tasks and resources in a methodical way.
• Experience with communicating with clients, vendors, and peers to maintain healthy relationships.
• Familiarity with supply chain management concepts and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadmap development, prioritization, and future-state design for PIC Solution and PIC Data Analytics Suite.
• Own PIC systems, interfaces, data flows, integration architecture, and performance.
• Manage vendor relations, enhancement discussions, release planning, and testing coordination.
• Direct design and enhancement of the PIC Data Analytics Suite, including data quality and transformations.
• Provide leadership for ERP conversions, dealer onboarding, and related system implementations.
• Prioritize data requests and guide development and testing on the PIC Systems team.
• Develop parts business knowledge, project management and leadership skills within the team.
• Offer direction for system projects from scope to execution and technical guidance.
• Collaborate with DAC Partners to investigate and solve systems-related challenges.
• Regularly update DAC partners on PIC initiatives and operational updates.
