Job summary

CONFIDENTIAL, located in Long Beach, CA, seeks a Supply Chain Data Analyst to assist in data gathering and analysis of our ops. You will identify underperforming areas, respond to internal requests regarding product availability and delivery, and help expedite orders with management approval.

The role involves creating purchase orders, monitoring supplier performance, and maintaining inventory data across databases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business or related field; 0–3 years of relevant experience
Proficient with AS400/BPCS, CALS or similar BI tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to interact with internal/external customers
Good negotiation skills and ability to promote a service-oriented environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
Basic project management skills to complete assigned steps of a project

Responsibilities

Assist in data gathering and analysis of supply chain operations and identify underperforming areas
Respond to sales, product management and customer requests regarding product availability and delivery
Create and monitor purchase orders for domestic and imported parts
Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery issues; propose corrective actions
Enter and manage inventory data; generate standard and ad hoc inventory reports; analyze demand drivers
Support senior analysts in developing short- and long-term kaizen plans
Perform other duties as assigned
