Inventory Supervisor

The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing inventory control functions, leading a team, ensuring safety and compliance, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership and Safety: Oversee a team to achieve business results, ensuring plant safety, GMP, and SQF programs are followed. Promote an engaged, team-oriented work environment.
2. Inventory Management: Achieve inventory counts and audit targets safely and efficiently. Coordinate inventory control with procurement, production, and warehouse departments. Support inventory personnel through visible leadership.
3. Supervision and Training: Supervise inventory control activities, including cycle counts and physical inventories. Train team members on policies, procedures, and responsibilities.
4. Process Audits and Reporting: Regularly audit receiving and issuing processes, maintain reports, and report discrepancies. Make recommendations for process improvements.
5. Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
6. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Ensure procedures for receipts, put-away, production supplies, license plate management, and staging are followed and deviations reported.
