Job summary

A leading company in Bloomington is seeking an Inventory Supervisor to maintain inventory accuracy and oversee the management of finished goods and raw materials. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, planning, and resolving discrepancies. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with additional hours as needed.

Job Title: Inventory Supervisor

Department: Warehouse

Location: Liberty Drive Facility, Bloomington, IN

Reports To: Director of Operations

F FLSA: Salary/Exempt

SALARY: $56,000 - $65,000 annually, paid out on a weekly basis

POSITION PURPOSE

The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility. This position will oversee daily management and planning of inventory for finished goods and raw materials. This role will serve to maximize space utilization as defined by operating WI’s. The Inventory Supervisor will track inventory using our ERP system and calculate weekly, monthly, and quarterly demand. The Inventory Supervisor will also monitor inventory levels and product movement throughout the facility and

Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree and/or three (3) years of experience.
  • Working knowledge of various inventory management systems/software
  • Ability to effectively present information to all levels of the organization
  • Good communication skills, written and oral.
  • Computer experience, specifically Excel
  • Planning skills are a plus
  • Must be able to pass the forklift certification test and drive a forklift on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs as part of the job function.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

DUTIES: (included, but not limited to)

E Essential Duties

  • Responsible for inventory planning, scheduling and inventory control
  • Responsible for overseeing physical inventories/cycle counts/audits/reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with purchasing to schedule parts’ purchases, ensure adequate inventory/storage of product based upon usage specifications.
  • Resolving inventory problems in a timely manner.
  • Documenting and controlling aged & damaged product.
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy metrics and associated reports for management
  • Coordinate and integrate efforts across operational departments to enhance inventory accuracy
  • Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through appropriate channels.
  • Verify the implementation of solutions.
  • Other Duties: Other duties as requested

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Standing and walking for extended periods of time

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to see, and speak, hear, write, and understand English.
  • Able to read and count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly
  • Capable of standing, stooping, bending, and walking for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs

WORKING HOURS: Mon–Fri. 7:00am-3:30+pm with 30-minute meal break.
