Job summary

adidas in Portland, OR seeks an inventory-focused professional to lead end-to-end inventory management for the NAM market and drive cross-functional alignment across Inventory, Finance and Supply Chain. You will develop inventory strategies, processes and KPIs to support commercial objectives and brand integrity.

The role requires 4–6 years in operations/planning/buying, a 4-year degree in business/finance, and strong analytics skills (SQL, Excel, Power BI, SAP).

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of operations, planning or buying experience in a large footwear, apparel, sporting goods or consumer products organization.
• 4-year college degree with emphasis in business or finance
• Willing to accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training

Responsibilities

• Partner cross-functionally to analyze market inventory by channel and recommend actions that maximize sales, inventory turn and gross margin while supporting commercial objectives and brand integrity.
• Deliver clear, accurate and actionable inventory data and analysis to support business partners, leadership decisions and commercial planning.
• Own weekly inventory reporting and provide ad hoc reporting, analysis and technical guidance using SQL, Excel, Power BI and SAP.
• Develop, support and continuously improve end-to-end inventory health processes and strategies, including planned production, like-for-like analysis, inventory flow, returns and transfers.
• Drive improvements in inventory reporting and upstream and downstream inventory management to strengthen process efficiency, communication and data accuracy.
• Align SCM and Inventory teams on consistent data, reporting and insights, and partner with commercial and brand teams to define and execute appropriate actions.
• Support the integration of U.S. inventory processes into Canada to enable a consistent One NAM approach.
• Identify roadblocks to stock commercialization, develop solutions and communicate inventory performance, risks and actions through monthly SLT reports and presentations
