Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking an Inventory Stock Associate to maintain accurate inventory and support efficient product flow in a fast-paced retail environment. You will receive and organize freight, perform cycle counts, and pull orders for drivers and customers.

You will work with inventory systems, identify correct parts, assist customers, and uphold safety and loss-prevention standards. Potential for growth within store operations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year previous experience stocking, loading, or pulling.
• High School Diploma, or equivalent experience, required.
• Ability to recognize part numbers and line codes to correctly identify parts.
• Legible writing ability.
• Ability to operate a computer terminal.
• Capable of lifting/moving parts up to 60 lbs and pushing/pulling 300 lbs.
• Ability to move engine blocks and heavy equipment with moving aids.
• Reach upper shelves (8 ft) using stool or ladder.
• Stand or walk for the full shift.

Responsibilities

• Pull all orders for delivery drivers, and for counter retail/wholesale customers and will-call, accurately and timely.
• Receive, post, stock, and organize incoming merchandise; maintain shelving and product placement.
• Conduct cycle counts and support ongoing inventory accuracy and record maintenance.
• Perform general housekeeping and facility cleaning while adhering to safety rules.
• Use inventory systems for coordination, dispatching support, and fulfillment efficiency.
• Assist customers by phone or in person as needed; provide basic support.
• Use delivery management systems to coordinate deliveries and fulfill orders for customers and drivers.
• Support store operations and team tasks to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to store processes.
